September 2017

"Children are human beings to whom respect is due, superior to us by reason of their innocence and of the greater possibilities of their future."
-- Maria Montessori

We warmly welcome our new students and parents to the Northwest Montessori family and congratulations to the students who have moved up. We look forward to being part of your child's learning and growing.

Of course we miss our kids who have moved on to elementary school this year but we know they will carry out into the world the lessons and fond memories they gathered here at Northwest Montessori.

Upcoming Events:

African Safari Presentation - Friday, September 22nd

Elizabeth Kahura will be visiting our school to teach us about the cultures of East Africa. She will show us traditional clothing, dance, and teach us a bit of the Kiswahili language. We look forward to her return!

Welcoming Fall

This month our students will celebrate the upcoming season with several special activities. We cannot wait to see everyone in their bright fall outfits!
