"Those who won our independence believed liberty to be the secret of happiness and courage to be the secret of liberty."
-- Louis D. Brandeis

This Past June...

June marked the start of our summer season and we had plenty of activities to start celebrating. Ms. Meena and Ms. Malini's classes had a wonderful time with their Hat Day, Ball Day, and Picnic. Ms. Ali's class started in full swing with Splash Day which was a huge success. They also enjoyed their Color Day, Ball day and Game Day. Of course we must not forget their 4th of July Celebration. All the children worked very hard and did an outstanding job. Ms. Denise, Ms. Joan, and Ms. Sunita also had their share of fun this month! They enjoyed their Yellow Day, Ball Day and their Splash Day too.

Upcoming July Events...

Independence Day

Independence Day is more than a chance for family and friends throughout the country to gather for barbecues and fireworks displays, it is an annual celebration to commemorate the courage and faith of our founding fathers in their pursuit of liberty. We hope that everyone will enjoy their holiday with friends and family and we look forward to everyone's safe return!

Summer Reading Contest

Last year was a huge success with our Reading Contest. With all their hard work, the children combined read more than 1700 books, that's incredible! This year, Ms. Ali, Ms. Denise, Ms. Joan, and Ms. Sunita will have all their children give another go at trying to read even more this year! Please stay tuned next mouth to find out how amazing all of the children did and how many more books they read.

Thursday, July 2, Red, White and Blue Day

Since we will all be enjoying our July 4th holiday with friends and family, 1901 and 1905 classes will start the July 4th holiday off by celebrating with a red, white and blue day. So please remember to wear your holiday spirit on July 2nd. Also, the class has been busy learning about cows and how dairy is made so to treat them for all their hard work, they will be making homemade ice cream!

Why the Montessori Method?...

Meeting the Needs of Your Child

The Montessori Method is a hands-on, prepared environment that is always growing at a child's own pace. A Montessori environment is an attempt, in an orderly fashion, to meet the multiple needs of each child and the needs of different types of children. Educating children in an atmosphere where their need for time, space, support, and stimulation can be met is just one of the many benefits of the Montessori Method
